I am a theoretical physicist working on quantum computing in silicon聽and also聽on applying concepts from quantum information theory to topics in dark matter and in neutrinoflavor聽evolution.聽 I have conducted research聽in condensed matter, focusing on the fundamental nature of systems that are far from thermal equilibrium. My聽theories explore the聽unifying phenomena that are observed in areas as diverse as population biology, biomineralization, granular materials, and superfluidity. I work closely with experimentalists, I've made important contributions to the development of quantum dot qubits in silicon/silicon-germanium heterostructures.
