Oleg Sushkov supervises Higher Degree Research (HDR) students and has particular expertise and interest in the following topics:
- quantum system with electric current without heat dissipation,
- artificial topological materials and spintronics,
- quantum phase transitions, spin liquids, copper oxide聽superconductors.
Currently, as of 2021, Oleg Sushkov is undertaking three main research projects. 聽They include:聽
Project 1:聽Artificial topological materials and spintronics,
Project 2: How to design a quantum system with electric current without heat dissipation,
Project 3: Quantum phase transition from artificial graphene to artificial topological insulator.
