Discovery Research

Fundamental research聽projects are available as well. These present the聽opportunity to impact many fields聽with a wide outreach. Supervisory teams are collaborative and complementary allowing you to excel.聽聽

Final year research students, PhD and Postdoctoral fellows across engineering, medicine and computer sciences work closely on different aspects of core projects listed below. These can be computational, experimental or both. See our list of聽recent publications.

Applied Research

Available translational research projects are聽industry-driven聽and involve close聽collaborations with clinicians. These projects are aimed at commercialisation and聽impact clinical practice. Students will receive聽strong聽multi-disciplinary support聽and significant opportunities to publish and present nationally and internationally for industry and academia. Many have direct high-end working opportunities immediately after. Working at the pulse of technology and innovation, we use the latest technology to drive cardiovascular medicine of the future.
