This year also marks the 40th anniversary of two centres at ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· Law & Justice - our Indigenous Law Centre and Kingsford Legal Centre.

 works directly with the local community surrounding the ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· campus to provide pro bono and subsidised legal support.Ìý.
Scholarships
The focus of our 50th anniversary year is supporting students in need. ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· Law & Justice is matching gifts to these scholarships, up to $25,000. The priority scholarships for support this year are:

Named after our founding Dean, this scholarship will support students experiencing adversity or disadvantage to undertake a degree at ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· Law & Justice.

This scholarship is named in honour of Judge Bob Bellear, ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·â€¯alumnus and Australia’s first Indigenous judge. This scholarship is presented in partnership with the Shalom College Gamarada Program.

This scholarship honours the life and achievements of Vanessa Hardman, a ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· Law & Justice alumna and member of the ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· UK Foundation Board. Established in 2017, the scholarship will help future ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· Law & Justice students carry on Vanessa’s legacy and embark on a rewarding international career. Â
