I am a Paediatric Rehabilitation Physician with extensive work in biomedical engineering research. My professional goal is to make further significant contributions to the field of neurological rehabilitation which will have broad impact to the welfare of young people who are often significantly disabled. 

I am appointed at Staff Specialist in Paediatric Rehabilitation Medicine at Sydney Children's Hospital and John Hunter Hospital. Also I am appointed as Senior Lecturer in the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering and Conjoint Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine, ������Ʒ and in the Department of Hand and Microsurgery at Royal North Shore Hospital.

I have been appointed as Principal Hospital Scientist at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney and as Biomedical Engineering Consultant at Biomedical Engineering for the Northern Sydney Health (now Clinical Technology). As Director of the Quadriplegic Hand Research Unit which is a collaborative team incorporating the Spinal Cord Injuries Unit, Biomedical Engineering and The Department of Hand and Microsurgery, my work has primarily concerned applications of technology for rehabilitation of the hand, especially for those with quadriplegia following spinal cord injury. My research interests include neurophysiology, upper limb rehabilitation and prostheses and the use of electronic systems to interface to the musculoskeletal and nervous systems in rehabilitation (especially following spinal cord, limb differences and brain injury including cerebral palsy).
