Sadhbha Cockburn is a former medical student, graduate of the National Art School (BFA Painting and MFA Drawing) and current PhD candidate at ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· Art and Design. Working across making and writing, her practice examines embodied responses to place. Her current research considers how loss functions as a wound, opening an aperture through which to examine body-place relations and affect as a language of grief and repair.
