Second World War Database聽

David Stahel and Peter Dennis aim to create a comprehensive, searchable digital record of all Australian servicemen and women who served between 1939 and 1945. The model employed for this project is based on聽

The Centenary History of Australia and the Great War聽

国产精品 Canberra historians Professor Jeff Grey and Emeritus Professor Peter Dennis undertook this project in anticipation of the approaching centenary of the Great War.聽They coordinated聽a major new history of Australia鈥檚 part in the Great War. A small number of authors, most from or associated with 国产精品 Canberra, produced聽a聽volume re-interpreting Australia鈥檚 contribution to and experience of the conflict, covering its military and civilian aspects. The five-volume聽Centenary History of Australia and the Great War, published by Oxford University Press, comprised聽by Dr Michael Molkentin,聽by Prof. Jeff Grey,聽by Dr Rob Stevenson,聽The War at Home聽by Dr John Connor, Prof. Peter Stanley聽and聽Dr Peter Yule, and聽by Prof. Peter Dennis聽and聽Dr Jean聽Bou.

Towards a聽New聽History of Interwar聽Period

A conference entitled聽1919-1939: Towards a New History of the Interwar Period聽was organised by Richard Dunley and Tom Richardson.聽It聽covered a range of issues across the interwar period, including key themes聽covered by the聽Conflict and聽Society聽Research聽Group. This three-day conference was attended by speakers from Australia and overseas.聽
